Subscription Terms

Clear rules for your subscription.

Monthly or annual billing. No cancellation fee. No automatic overage bills.

These Terms apply to PetCareOps paid subscriptions for U.S.-based business customers. The linked Privacy Notice records the paid-service data and retention rules.

Version 4.1 · Effective 2026-09-22. Compare plans and capacities.

Lite
$29.99 / month · $299.90 / year
Growth
$99 / month · $990 / year
Pro
$149 / month · $1,490 / year

All prices are USD before applicable tax. Annual billing covers a full year and equals ten monthly payments. Each plan includes unlimited named staff.

Billing and renewal

Initial paid invitations are for U.S.-based businesses only. Monthly subscriptions are paid in advance and renew monthly. Annual subscriptions are paid in full for the year and renew annually; they are not monthly installment plans. Prices are in USD. Your full charge, billing period and applicable tax must be shown before payment. Unlimited named staff accounts are included; the other published plan capacities still apply.

Your starting price

Your starting base subscription price is protected for your first 12 paid months on the same plan and billing period. Unpaid periods do not use those months. Finishing protection does not automatically raise your price. Future increases take effect only at a later renewal after protection, with at least 30 days' notice or any longer notice required by applicable law.

Cancel without a cancellation fee

Cancel online in your workspace billing controls before renewal to stop the next base subscription charge. Access continues through the paid period. There is no cancellation fee or mandatory phone call. We confirm the effective date. Optional feedback never blocks cancellation. If you cannot access billing, open a ticket at /support for cancellation help.

14-day first-purchase refund

First-time businesses may request a full refund of their initial monthly or annual base subscription charge within 14 calendar days of the first successful charge, without providing a reason. Applicable tax is refunded with the eligible charge; PetCareOps does not deduct its processing costs. The introductory guarantee applies once per business, not once per staff account or recreated workspace. Request the refund through your workspace billing controls or open a ticket at /support from your account email. We verify your authority and the original charge. A guarantee refund ends renewal and normal paid service when initiated, with confirmation and export assistance. Refunds return to the original payment method; bank posting takes additional time.

After the introductory window

Canceling after the introductory window stops future renewal but generally does not refund unused subscription time. Duplicate, erroneous or unauthorized charges, undelivered paid access, legally required refunds and individually agreed service-failure remedies are handled separately. Your statutory rights are not waived. A dispute or pending refund is checked before another refund is issued.

14-day no-card trial

Eligible U.S. businesses may start one 14-day Lite trial without entering a card or being charged. The trial ends 14 calendar days after activation and does not convert automatically to a paid subscription. Continued paid access requires the verified business owner to make a new, explicit purchase after reviewing the selected plan, price, tax, renewal, refund and cancellation terms and entering a payment method with Stripe. Trial access may be restricted when the trial expires; billing and export assistance remain available. A trial does not start the 12 paid months of starting-price protection. The separate 14-day refund guarantee begins with the first successful paid charge.

Renewal reminders and changes

Annual renewal reminders are sent 30 days before the charge. Plan or billing-period changes are handled through support at launch. You review and accept the new price, effective date, capacities and effect on price protection first. Changes normally take effect at the next renewal, without retroactive charges or silently deleting over-limit records. There are no automatic plan upgrades or downgrades.

Business email allowances

Each business receives 5,000 outbound transactional recipient-deliveries per calendar month on Lite, 25,000 on Growth or 100,000 on Pro. The allowance resets monthly at 00:00 UTC on the first day, including for annual subscribers; unused allowance does not roll over. Three recipients use three deliveries. Provider-accepted deliveries count even if they later bounce; retries of the same recipient and message do not count twice. Uncertain sends reserve capacity until reconciled. Messages rejected or suppressed before provider acceptance do not count as delivered usage. Core account-security, subscription and allowance-warning messages are separate.

No automatic overage bills

There are no automatic email overage charges or paid top-ups at launch. Usage warnings appear at 80% and 95%. At the allowance, additional business sending pauses with a visible explanation and owner notice. Contact support for review of a free temporary extension. Messages must not be silently dropped or billed, and expired visit notices must not be sent later. Bulk promotions, purchased lists and general email-relay use are excluded.

What the email address includes

The business address supports transactional sending and forwarding to a verified existing inbox. It is not a hosted mailbox. Current forwarding requires authenticated messages under 64 KB without attachments. Replies sent from the external inbox use that inbox's address. Email on your own domain and replies inside PetCareOps Inbox are not currently included. Growth and Pro include assisted setup of a website domain you own, subject to ownership and HTTPS verification.

Separate costs

Your pet-care client charges and Stripe processing fees are separate from your PetCareOps subscription. PetCareOps adds no per-transaction fee at launch. Domain registration, full mailboxes, SMS, marketing campaigns and other optional paid services are not silently bundled or billed. A future paid add-on requires a separate explicit order with its price and renewal terms. Applicable tax is shown before purchase.

Time to fix a failed renewal

You have seven calendar days to fix a failed renewal before ordinary workspace suspension, with an immediate alert and reminders on days 3 and 6. Payment-management access remains available, and a failed card does not delete your records. Retries do not restart the grace period. Intentional cancellation and administrative or security suspensions do not receive extra access under this rule.

Leaving and taking your records

Normal service, the hosted website, new bookings and branded business sending end with the paid period or an earlier agreed refunded closure. The verified owner receives 30 days of export assistance afterward. You retain your own domain and Stripe account. Ending your software subscription does not itself refund your pet-care clients, cancel your obligations to them or close your Stripe account. Export assistance is not a promise that all records and backup copies are permanently deleted after 30 days.

PetCareOps provides business software

PetCareOps LLC supplies software to pet-care businesses. It does not become the pet-care provider, employer, insurer, accountant, attorney or tax preparer. Your business remains responsible for its services, staff, client agreements, care decisions, legal compliance and the accuracy and lawfulness of information it enters.

Accounts and authorized use

Each named user must use authorized access and protect their own password and authenticator. The business owner controls team roles and should promptly revoke access that is no longer needed. Do not share credentials, bypass permissions, interfere with security, upload harmful code, use the service unlawfully, or use transactional email for purchased lists, unsolicited bulk messages or a general email relay.

Your business content and connected services

Your business retains ownership of content it enters and gives PetCareOps the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and transmit it to provide the selected service. You must have authority to enter another person's information. Stripe, Cloudflare, domain registrars and other enabled providers have separate terms. PetCareOps acts only within the connected-account, website, email and billing functions you enable.

Security and service restrictions

PetCareOps may proportionately restrict affected functions for unlawful or abusive use, a credible security risk, nonpayment after the stated grace period, or a provider restriction. Where safe and applicable, billing, cancellation, support and required export access remain available. A restriction does not transfer your domain or close your Stripe account.

Support and privacy

Open a ticket at /support for subscription support; phone support is not offered. No 24/7 staffing, guaranteed response time, unlimited custom work or uptime service-level agreement is included. The linked paid-service privacy notice explains data uses, providers, deletion, backup retention and narrow hold exceptions. These software terms do not set your own pet-care cancellation or refund policies.

Service standard and customer verification

PetCareOps will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide and maintain the Service. Customer remains responsible for reviewing schedules, assignments, care instructions, reports, invoices, payment status, staff access and other business information before relying on them. The Service is business software and is not an emergency dispatch, veterinary, medical, legal, tax, insurance or professional pet-care service. Customer remains responsible for its pet-care services, personnel, clients, contracts, safety decisions and compliance with laws that apply to its business.

Availability, communications and third-party services

Except for any express commitment in an order signed by PetCareOps, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetCareOps disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. PetCareOps does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, immediate correction of every issue, or successful delivery or continued availability of third-party payments, email, forwarding, DNS, domains, maps or other connected services. These disclaimers do not limit the express refund, cancellation, export, security or privacy commitments in these Terms, an applicable order or the Privacy Notice, and do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.

Excluded damages and general liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable under or in connection with the Service or these Terms for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or business opportunity, even if advised that such damages were possible. Except for Excluded Claims, each party’s total aggregate liability arising from the Service or these Terms will not exceed the subscription fees paid or payable by Customer to PetCareOps for the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the first claim. This section does not limit liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to limit.

Excluded Claims

“Excluded Claims” means: (a) Customer’s obligation to pay valid charges; (b) either party’s fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence; (c) either party’s infringement or misappropriation of the other party’s intellectual-property rights; (d) obligations under the indemnification section of these Terms; and (e) liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to limit.

Customer third-party claims

Customer will defend, indemnify and hold harmless PetCareOps LLC and its officers, employees and agents from a third-party claim, demand, action or proceeding to the extent arising from: (a) Customer’s pet-care services or business operations; (b) Customer Data that infringes, misappropriates or violates a third party’s intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights; (c) Customer’s relationship with its clients, employees or contractors; (d) Customer’s violation of law or these Terms; or (e) Customer’s unauthorized or unlawful use of the Service. Customer has no obligation to the extent a claim was caused by PetCareOps’ breach of these Terms, gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnification procedure

The indemnified party must promptly notify the indemnifying party of a covered claim, provide reasonable cooperation at the indemnifying party’s expense, and allow the indemnifying party to control the defense and settlement. Delay in notice reduces the obligation only to the extent the delay materially prejudices the defense. The indemnifying party may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by, imposes non-monetary duties on, or fails to fully release the indemnified party without that party’s written consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld.

Florida law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, for disputes arising from the Service or these Terms, and waive any objection to venue or forum in those courts. Either party may seek temporary or injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect confidential information, security, or intellectual-property rights.

Stripe Connect authorization

Customer retains its own Stripe connected account and remains the merchant of record for charges Customer collects from its clients. Customer authorizes PetCareOps to access and use Connected Account Data and to perform platform activity on Customer’s behalf as needed to provide the Service, including subscription billing, invoicing support, payouts Customer initiates through the Service, reporting, support, security, and fraud prevention. Customer authorizes PetCareOps to share Connected Account Data with Stripe as required to operate Stripe Connect and related Stripe services. Customer may revoke this authorization by disconnecting its Stripe account and canceling the Service. Revocation does not affect activity already submitted. Stripe, not PetCareOps, provides the payment rails. Stripe’s terms govern the connected account.

Assignment

Customer may not assign these Terms without PetCareOps’ prior written consent, except to a successor in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of substantially all of Customer’s assets if the successor is not a competitor and assumes these Terms in writing. PetCareOps may assign these Terms to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of assets. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section is void.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform (other than payment of fees) caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, utility or internet failures, denial-of-service attacks, labor disputes, government action, or failure of a third-party hosting, payment, email, DNS, or communications provider. The affected party will give prompt notice and use commercially reasonable efforts to resume performance.

Waiver; severability; reformation

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a court finds any provision unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will stay in effect.

Survival

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, ownership of Customer Data and PetCareOps intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and this general-mechanics section.

Headings; electronic acceptance; entire agreement

Headings are for convenience only. These Terms may be accepted electronically. Clicking “I agree,” checking an acceptance box, creating an account, or completing Checkout constitutes acceptance by a person authorized to bind Customer. These Terms, the Privacy Notice, the published commercial policy, and any mutually signed order are the entire agreement and supersede prior discussions relating to the Service.

Order of precedence

If documents conflict: (1) a mutually signed order controls only where it expressly changes these Terms; (2) these Terms control over help text, knowledge-base articles, and marketing copy; (3) the Privacy Notice governs PetCareOps’ handling of personal information; and (4) the published commercial policy controls price, billing frequency, starting-price protection, renewal, refund, cancellation, failed-payment grace, allowances, and export-assistance promises. A terms update applies prospectively. PetCareOps will give notice of a material change. If a material change cannot fairly wait until the next renewal, PetCareOps will require fresh acceptance before the change applies to that Customer.

Commercial policy

Paid plans are $29.99, $99, and $149 per month, billed monthly or annually. Annual billing is prepaid for the annual term. For the first 12 paid months on a plan, PetCareOps will not increase the starting price for that plan for that Customer. After that protection period, PetCareOps may change prices on notice, effective at the next renewal. Customer’s first paid purchase may be canceled for a full refund within 14 days. After that window, fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in a signed order. If a renewal payment fails, PetCareOps will allow a seven-day grace period before suspending the paid Service. Customer may cancel online at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period unless Customer is within the 14-day first-purchase refund window. PetCareOps will send a reminder at least 30 days before an annual renewal. PetCareOps will not automatically charge email overages.
